NETC@RDS Service Point Locator

The communication toolkit has now been enriched with a new promotional and information instrument, the “NETC@RDS Service Point locator”. This is accessible through http://healthcareabroad.eu and is an easy-to-use online tool for travelers in Europe informing them on how and where to access the NETC@RDS service. By selecting their home country and then a language of choice, users can display a welcome message translated into the language chosen which briefly explains the purpose of NETC@RDS and the tool aims. After clicking on the map and choosing their destination or current location, users can see a map of NETC@RDS Service Points in the area along with address and relevant information to the service.

NETC@RDS for eEHIC at the Ministerial eHealth Conference 2009

The NETC@RDS project will be presented at the Ministerial Conference “eHealth for Individuals, Society and Economy (18 – 20 February 2009, Prague). The presentation will take place on 19 February (13:00 – 14:30) and will focus on the State of the Art of ICT for cross border healthcare: patient identification, authentification, privacy and security. NETC@RDS at “Cartes 2008” Exhibition – 4-6 November 2008 Paris

The NETC@RDS services was exhibited at the traditional “salon des Cartes” which took place in Paris 4-6 November 2008. A NETC@RDS dedicated booth was installed by GIE-SV to demonstrate the service.

The NETC@RDS application has been exhibited at the Health Information Technologies 2008 fair in Paris (27-30 May). Under the coordination of GIE-SV and AP-HP and the support of the industrial partner Gemalto, the IT solution has been presented and demonstrated to visitors. In the frame of the EUReGov initiative, a recent workshop has been organised with the objective to gain further insight into processes of Europeanisation of eGovernment, to share knowledge and achievements by projects and initiatives in this sector and facilitate the exchange of ideas amongst relevant stakeholders. The NETC@RDS success story and current implementation have been illustrated at the workshop by Guillaume Aflalo, representing GIE-SESAM Vitale.

The NETC@RDS and TEN4Health First Common Workshop took place on 13th November 2007 in Paris. The Workshop was organised in the frame of the cooperation between the two eTEN projects aimed at confronting approaches and methods adopted, sharing knowledge and establish possible fruitful synergies in the frame of eHealth services for citizens’ mobility.

The traditional “salon des Cartes” took place at Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre from 13/15 November 2007. NETC@RDS services was exibited through GIE SESAM-Vitale stand and promotional events organised in the frame of the international fair.
