A step towards the electronic EHIC

The communication toolkit has now been enriched with a new promotional and information instrument, the “NETC@RDS Service Point locator”. This is accessible through http://healthcareabroad.eu and is an easy-to-use online tool for travelers in Europe informing them on how and where to access the NETC@RDS service. By selecting their home country and then a language of choice, users can display a welcome message translated into the language chosen which briefly explains the purpose of NETC@RDS and the tool aims. After clicking on the map and choosing their destination or current location, users can see a map of NETC@RDS Service Points in the area along with address and relevant information to the service.
